Beans cooked and sealed in a can with their liquid, usually salted. The bean variety depends on the tin: haricot, kidney, black, or a mix.
Origin
A preserved form of the dried bean.
Flavour
Soft and mild, seasoned by the brine.
How to use it
Drain and rinse them for salads. Keep the liquid if you want the starch.
Storage
Cupboard until open. Then refrigerate.
