Frozen Seafood mix
A frozen assortment of seafood, usually prawns, squid rings, and mussels, cleaned and blanched before freezing.
Origin
A packed mix for soups and paella-style rice.
Flavour
Mildly marine. Quality depends on how quickly it was frozen.
How to use it
Add it frozen or just thawed near the end of cooking, so it does not turn rubbery.
Storage
Keep it frozen. Thaw it in the fridge and do not refreeze it.
