The kernel inside the pit of the St Lucie cherry, Prunus mahaleb, ground to a powder. A little perfumes breads and pastries.

Cherry, almond, and a bitter floral note.

How to use it

Add a pinch to doughs and biscuits. Too much turns soapy and bitter.

Storage

Airtight and dark, and better in the fridge. The oil in the kernel stales.
