Shelled Hazelnuts
Hazelnut kernels with the hard shell already removed. The brown skin on the kernel is still there until you toast and rub it off.

From hazel orchards around the Black Sea, in Italy, and in the Pacific Northwest.
Flavour
Sweet and woody, fuller once toasted.
How to use it
Toast them for baking, chocolate, and salads.
Storage
Refrigerate or freeze. They are oily and stale quickly.
