Sweet Sherry

A fortified wine from Jerez with residual sugar, such as a cream sherry. The base is Palomino wine, fortified with grape spirit and sweetened.

Origin

Made in the sherry region of southern Spain.

Flavour

Sweet, nutty, and raisiny.

How to use it

Sip it, or use it in desserts and glazes where a dry sherry would be too stern.

Storage

Refrigerate after opening and drink it within a few weeks.
