White haricot beans stewed in a tomato sauce. The beans are the mature seeds of Phaseolus vulgaris, cooked soft and packed in a sweet-savoury tomato liquid.

A tinned version of beans baked with pork and molasses, now a British cupboard staple in tomato sauce.
