Green Pepper
An unripe sweet pepper, Capsicum annuum picked while the fruit is still green. Left longer, the same fruit would turn red, yellow, or orange.

Grown worldwide from a Mesoamerican species.
Flavour
Grassy, slightly bitter, and less sweet than a ripe pepper.
How to use it
Fry it, stuff it, or slice it raw. The skin softens with cooking.
Storage
Refrigerate and use within a week.
