Seeds
Edible seeds mixed into bread. In the rye loaf they are a blend such as sunflower, linseed, and pumpkin, added for oil, crunch, and flavour.
Origin
Harvested from those crops and sold as a baking mix or added one by one.
Flavour
Nutty, and as strong as the seeds in the mix.
How to use it
Stir them into dough, or soak linseed first if you want the gel.
Storage
Refrigerate a mix that contains oily seeds.
